Show Notes

This episodes includes graphic descriptions of abortions and may be difficult for some listeners.

In the wake of the overturning of Roe vs Wade in America, Stefanie talks to Carol Downer, an activist who joined the women's liberation movement in the 1960s and advocated for the legalisation of abortion in California. Carol discusses her personal experience with having an illegal abortion, and how this started her journey working with women to help provide information on abortion, birth control and fertility.
